Account Supervisor

Anthology Marketing Group is seeking a talented Account Supervisor (AS) who manages processes, projects, and oversees a team to ensure a high-level of strategic thinking, execution, productivity and efficiency is maintained on all assigned accounts. Utilizes skills in interpersonal communications, conceptualizing strategic direction, problem-solving recommendations, and client consultation, while also performing all public relations functions including writing, media interaction, client liaison and day-to-day administrative activities. Responsible for becoming immersed with client products, markets and media to effectively deal with clients' PR needs and long range planning. Necessary management skills include planning, budgeting, scheduling, organizing, and leading. The AS is also heavily involved with company leadership in the maintenance and development of the agency's corporate initiatives, including administration, professional development, community service efforts, student internship program, internal communications, and other activities. Directs the activities of other junior team members.

Reporting to a VP, the AS will

  • Work closely with company leadership to identify operational improvements/efficiencies and opportunities to increase profitability for the agency.
  • Plan, organize, and review budgets.
  • Directs and motivate staff.
  • Identify and resolve any areas of concern.
  • Analyze situations and develop plans of action.
  • Supervise a team of personnel and oversees assigned clients and respective projects to ensure all account service functions are operating a high level of productivity and satisfaction.
  • Ensure team is following through on all client projects/tasks as scheduled and deadlines are being met consistently, from the execution of a public relations plan and its tactics, clients' reports and general administrative duties, including monitoring account productivity/profitability and receivables.
  • Ensure client and staff retention.
  • Develop initiatives related to agency's corporate culture, including operational efficiencies/best practices, professional development, student internship program, community service efforts, and other activities.
  • Develop and write public relations plans and strategies and makes proactive recommendations to clients.
  • Prepare communication materials involved in the implementation of public relations programs for clients. Writes press releases, opinion editorials, white papers, client-attributed articles and other media-related materials.
  • Plan and facilitate media training for clients.
  • Forecast and manage client budgets.
  • Assist in identifying and responding to new business leads, including the review of and responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ),, participation in new business programs and creating new presentations.
  • Lead team in crisis communications situations.
  • Lead meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Maintain relationships with industry and editorial contacts to assure appropriate opportunities are realized for clients.
  • Proactively keep staff abreast of client's industry and marketplace trends.
  • Regularly communicates with clients on status.

The AS will have:

Job Requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
    • High School diploma and three years experience in a marketing environment may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years experience in marketing or advertising.
  • Proven record of successfully managing a team and motivating team members.
  • Proven record of excellent client service.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Prezi.
  • Possess high degree of professionalism.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Account Executive

Anthology Marketing Group is seeking a talented Account Executive (AE) to serve as a primarily client contact and ensures a high-level of strategic thinking, productivity and efficiency is maintained on all assigned accounts. Performs all public relations functions including writing, media interaction, client liaison and day-to-day administrative activities

Reporting to a Account Supervisor, the AE will:

  • Oversee staff and maintain a high level of productivity and account service satisfaction in the public relations group.
  • Develop and write public relations plans and strategies and makes proactive recommendations to clients.
  • Prepare communication materials involved in the implementation of public relations programs for clients. Write press releases, copy for newsletters articles and other media-related materials.
  • Assist team in crisis communications situations, as directed.
  • Participate in new business programs and maintains new business presentation for current use.
  • Maintain relationships with industry and editorial contacts to assure appropriate opportunities are realized for clients.
  • Manage and/or prepare content and layouts for publications, such as brochures, newsletters, and magazines as assigned.
  • Handle special projects, new business assignments, and social/ community involvement activities as assigned.
  • Stay abreast of client's industry and marketplace.
  • Communicate regularly with clients on status, work in progress reports and conference call reports.
  • Work with team to ensure daily print, television and online media coverage reports are produced. Ensure reports are generated and sent immediately to client.
  • Provide direction and/or organizes photo and/or video shoots for publications, social media channels, presentations and other communications initiatives.
  • Manage media and client contact database, including the updating of contacts, and preparing and maintaining distribution lists.
  • Manage online pressrooms, including uploading news releases and updating client information as directed.
  • Review daily media opportunities and alerts team to pertinent issues/opportunities.
  • Respond to client, vendor, and media requests.

The candidate must have:

  • Works closely with the designers, project managers and clients to implement highly functional, high-performance web-based products, services and applications.
  • Defines overall web application objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Determines design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.

Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for leading UX efforts on digital projects and mentoring other members of the experience design team. Primary duties include spearheading efforts in content strategy, information architecture, user interface design and contributing to the overall strategic direction of select projects and accounts.

This full time regular position, reporting to the Director of Experience Design

  • Lead and direct other XD team members on projects, with minimal supervision from the XD Director and/or other managers.
  • Create estimates by developing the design strategy and defining requirements, specifications and assumptions.
  • Take appropriate notes and prepares associated documentation related to the successful design, development and implementation of projects.
  • Consults with clients and provides client recommendations in a professional manner.

  • Strong understanding of digital design best practices (and knowing when it is appropriate to break the rules), marketing strategies and branding.
  • Strong visual design skills as demonstrated via a portfolio of work. Proficient with applications including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and OmniGraffle Pro.
  • HTML/CSS proficiency and cross-browser, cross-platform testing skills.
