IT Manager

Anthology Marketing Group is seeking an IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all IT operations in the company. The IT manager will plan, coordinate and manage existing and future projects. This position calls upon strong communication skills with a team player approach.

This full time regular position, reporting to President of Digital

  • Manages and mentors IT personnel, provides leadership and vision of a clean IT infrastructure.
  • Provides a goal path for IT dept. continuously seek improvements and efficiency in daily operations.
  • Research prices for procurement, researches solutions for future deployments and project management.
  • Manages vendor relations, constant interaction and negotiations with vendors who provide services to us.
  • Communicates with partners on existing status and future projects/deployments.
  • Provides senior level engineering support of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2003, AD, Group Policy, Office 365.
  • Supports the call center, understands the unique calling system and call center survey applications.
  • Provides support to LAN/WAN networking, VPN, firewall, switching, cabling, printing, and break-fix.
  • Provides support to VoIP, cell phones, wireless devices, audio/video equipment, & projectors.
  • Provides support to server backups, Time Machine, data recovery, and bare-metal recovery.
  • Provides support to and research solutions to Apps, software issues, & Office 365.
  • Researches and documents IT solutions and procedures that adhere to best effort practices.
  • Coordinates with Finance regarding billing/payments, tracks invoices and payment status with vendors.
  • Attends educational seminars, lunch & learn sessions, webinars and other learning opportunities.
  • Assists with assembling or breaking down desks, mount dry erase boards, general office assistance.

We are seeking a candidate that has:

  • Senior level engineering knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 (physical & virtualized servers), Active Directory, and desktop environment.
  • Senior level knowledge of network storage devices, disaster recovery solutions, and overall scope of IT operations.
  • Basic networking knowledge of VLANís, gig switch, VoIP, and firewall support.
  • Some knowledge of Apple based hardware and software products.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, browsing, searching, general IT etiquette
  • Confident leadership and critical decision making skills that will affect the IT infrastructure of the company.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and critically examine technology issues thatís in the best interest of the firm.
  • Strong ability to focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness.
  • Ability to multitask and remain level-headed in the event of technology crises.
  • Ability to respond to a crisis or network outage in a professional manner.

The candidate needs:

Minimum:
  • Bachelorís degree in related field.
  • Seven (7) years hands-on senior level IT experience.
  • One (1) year IT management experience.
  • Possess high degree of troubleshooting and critical thinking.
  • Possess high degree of professionalism and communicative ability.
Preferred:
  • Any type of project management certifications.
  • Any type of technology certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, CCENT, CCNA, Apple Certifications, Network +, Security +).

Senior Experience Designer

The Senior Experience Designer is responsible for leading experience design (XD) efforts on digital projects and mentoring other designers. Primary duties include spearheading the creation and execution of design concepts, user interface design, visual design and front-end development.

This full time regular position, reporting to the Director of Experience Design

  • Lead and direct other XD team members on projects, with minimal supervision from the XD Director and/or other managers.
  • Create estimates by developing the design strategy and defining requirements, specifications and assumptions.
  • Take appropriate meeting notes and prepares associated documentation related to the successful design, development and implementation of projects.
  • Consults with clients and provides client recommendations in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to fulfill project goals on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Develop content and information architecture strategies.
  • Create original, usable and sustainable design and interaction concepts, user interfaces, and visual designs.
  • Implement and maintain designs using appropriate front-end development techniques.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on relevant issues and trends by written and/or oral presentation.
  • Demonstrate corporate leadership skills.
  • Participate in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new team members, freelance talent and other vendors.
  • Participate in business development and strategic planning activities for new and existing clients.
  • Participate in the training, development and peer reviews of other team members as needed.
  • Input daily timesheets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of various technical platform and programming languages.

The candidate needs:

Minimum:
  • High school diploma.
  • Four (4) or more year's hands-on experience in multiple areas of digital design and development, specifically in the following areas: user experience design, user interface design, visual design, interaction design, front-end development, usability research.
  • Project experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital design best practices (and knowing when it is appropriate to break the rules), marketing strategies and branding.
  • Strong visual design skills as demonstrated via a portfolio of work. Proficient with applications including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and OmniGraffle Pro.
  • Strong HTML/CSS proficiency and cross-browser, cross-platform testing skills.
  • Working knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends if needed.
